Japan Diary Part I

Japan Diary Part I

This past December, I traveled to Japan for the first time with my family. We had 11 days and wanted to do everything like locals which includes traveling mostly by trains, subways, & everything else the uber advanced Japanese public transportation system had to offer. We had an idea of the cities we want to visit, but no set itinerary. And looking back, it's amazing to see how much ground we've covered within our time frame. Six cities and thousands of pictures later, here are some of my favorite moments from this trip.

We stayed at a traditional Japanese style hotel in Hakone. The hotel was known for their Japanese garden. This was the night time view from our room.

Uni and Toro are my absolute favorites, so naturally this had to be well documented. (Ginza District, Tokyo)

Central Kyoto is packed with alleys full of local food shops, we were waiting in line at this oyster restaurant and I had to capture this chef's dedication to his craft. (Nakagyō-ku, Kyoto)
